About Dr. Canale
Dr. Dominic Canale is a Consultant Psychiatrist based in Melbourne who sub-specialises in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.

Dr. Canale graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (Honours) from Monash University and developed a keen interest in psychotherapies at an early stage in his career. He completed the majority of his medical training specialising in Psychiatry at Alfred Health and was granted a Master of Psychiatry from Melbourne University. Dr. Canale then held the inaugural position as the Psychotherapy Advanced Trainee at Alfred Health before gaining Fellowship into the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP).
Dr. Canale now enjoys full-time work in private practice at the Fitzroy Terrace Clinic. Dr. Canale is pursuing ongoing training with the Melbourne Association of Psychodynamic Psychiatry and ongoing supervision with a senior colleague as is customary for practitioners of psychodynamic work.
